Classes for Medical & Police Professionals
Quickly learn to triage medical and policing situations
We offer classes that focus on first responder scenarios and vocabulary to help you most quickly reach the right level of Spanish to help you serve others. We focus on the Who? What? Where? When? and Why?. We offer courses and quick reference guides for police and safety personnel. For medical staff, we can come to your hospital, medical facility, or office to provide small group classes. Are you a med school student looking to improve your language skills? We will meet with you and your classmates at a location and time, day or night, that best suits your needs.
Why Our Medical/Police Professionals Classes?
Learn Spanish to Triage
We understand it takes years to master a second language, so we focus on teaching you the basics at a quick pace by asking ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions. This will help you gain respect with Spanish-speakers, but won’t overwhelm you to a point where you’re not able to understand responses.
Practice Makes Perfect!
We offer real-life scenarios to help you get over that first hurdle of speaking short phrases in Spanish. Our classes are focused on practical situation that you encounter on a daily basis in your line of work.
Flexible & Convenient Classes
We can tailor classes to meet your objectives and schedule. We understand that police and medical professionals have erratic schedules, and we will work around your busy schedule. We will also provide classes at your location to save you time.
Resources for Real-life
Because our classes are focused on triage and gaining the respect of the person you are serving, you are not going to immediately learn advanced concepts in Spanish, and we get that. So we’ve developed tools and pocket guides to help you on your day-to-day job. They’re a hit with our students!
“The Spanish-speaking community in the Cincinnati Region is increasing at a rapid rate with few Spanish-speaking officers available 24/7 on patrol. Patrol officers who are able to maintain control of a situation by communicating in Spanish promote goodwill to the Hispanic community and, most importantly, enhance officer safety.”Sargent Scott Albert
