Virtual Winter Session Starting January 23rd!
This winter we are offering Virtual Story Time for ages 2-6 and Virtual Classes for ages 7-11 on Saturday mornings. Sessions will be with a live instructor (no recordings) using Zoom, so be sure to have your laptop or tablet ready with a camera and microphone. Children will be grouped by age and experience depending on enrollment.
How Will Your Child Learn Spanish?
Having Fun & Learning
Children learn best when they are comfortable and having fun. Our classes are fun, interactive, and activity-based. Kids will learn through songs, games, and age-appropriate activities.
Our focus is on teaching kids to understand spoken Spanish and giving them confidence to speak short phrases. This is done by immersing the children in Spanish with a native-speaking instructor.
3 Tiered Approach
The primary building block for language acquisition is vocabulary. Next, the vocabulary is placed within the context of short phrases. Language instruction takes place within a cultural context, which is our third tier.
Open World of Opportunity for Your Child
Learning Spanish sparks creativity and critical thinking. Similar to learning a musical instrument, learning Spanish will improve your child’s performance in school and introduce new cultures. If you travel with your child, you’ll see how much they learn!
Why Expose Your Child to a New Language?
A Lifetime OF Learning
Introducing Spanish to children develops Spanish speaking and listening comprehension skills that will aid in future language learning. Children’s minds are more easily adaptable to new sounds, methods of logic, and pronunciation.
Learning Spanish enhances intellectual flexibility, problem solving skills, creativity, and standardized test scores, and helps prepare your child for a multi-cultural world.
Learning a language goes hand-in-hand with learning about other cultures. Spanish exposes children to different Hispanic cultures, teaching them to be more tolerant and respectful towards others.

What Parents Say
“The teachers are absolutely AMAZING! After just one class, my daughter had learned so much. They keep the class so fun and it’s very interactive, keeping the attention of all of the children. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! You will NOT be disappointed! ”Veronica Fischer, parent
“My son began the year hating the idea of going to Spanish class. After two weeks of classes, he actually said he couldn’t wait for Monday and Thursday because he had Spanish. He comes after every class with new words to teach us. It is great to see him excited about it. Thank you – it is making his entire year better!”Jenny Wagner, parent at Madeira Elementary School
“Cesar [Cincinnati Spanish Academy teacher] is energetic upbeat, patient, caring, and overall just fun to be around. As much as I love him, I think the children may love him even more! They talk about him all week in anticipation of his arrival, and they are fully attentive when he’s there. His time with them is engaging, exciting, and most importantly developmentally appropriate. The parents love that their children are actually speaking Spanish words at home. I am so happy with him and everything he’s brought into our classroom. Thank you Mr. Cesar!”Indya Benton, preschool teacher at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church Preschool
